1P 5 not working with Lynda.com modal login on iPad 2 iOS 8.x

The Lynda.com modal login page is similar to Agilebits.com modal login (which works with my 1P saved login). I've added the URL to 1P, so there are now two login URLs in the Lynda.com login record, but 1P does not fill in the username or password fields.

    Hi @javilan,

I'm sorry you're having trouble filling your login info on that site!

I don't quite understand what you mean, can you explain about the two URLs? What are the exact URLs you've entered in your Login item for Lynda.com? Which one do you tap on in order to open the website?

The URL that was auto-saved when I originally created the 1P login item was http://www.lynda.com/user/login/modal. The URL displayed in the Safari address bar is www.lynda.com/member.aspx, so I added it to the 1P login item.
After opening the 1P extension, I've tried tapping both URLs, trying both the "Open" and "Open in Safari" options, but neither seems to do anything (the login fields in the modal window are not filled in).

By the way, I hadn't known about the extensions feature until a couple of hours ago, when I read about it on your FAQ page. I've owned and used 1Password for years, but have struggled with having to open 1P on my iOS devices, copy my password, and then return to the Safari web page to log into various sites. Because of that, I've kept my passwords simple enough to remember. With the extensions feature I'll be able to generate more complex passwords. Thanks so much for such a great and convenient product.

    Hi @javilan,

Just to confirm, you're tapping "Open" for the https://www.lynda.com/user/login/modal URL?

Also, the "Open in Safari" option will not open and fill the login, only open it. You need to use the Safari extension to fill the login.

With the extensions feature I'll be able to generate more complex passwords. Thanks so much for such a great and convenient product.

You're welcome! I'm glad to hear you like our new Safari extension. :)
