How do I actually contact someone to buy a license for 1P 3?

If you purchase a 1Password 5 license from our web store, you'll be able to use version 3 (for 10.6 and 10.7), version 4 (for 10.8 and 10.9), and version 5 (for 10.10). :)

Its my understanding that they do not directly sell 1Password 3 licenses any longer. However...

Instead purchase a licenses from the website for 1Password 5 which also works with 1Password 4. They will generate a version 3 license for you too. After you have made the purchase simply send an email to support+license@agilebits.com Detailing you wish to have a version 3 key generated for you as you already purchased a current license.

I would send the email from the same one used to purchase the version 5 key. After submitting the email, you will receive and automated reply from the staff it will included a ticket number.

Respond here with that ticket number incase on of the admins stops in they can take quicker action on your request.

Is the version 3 key auto generated now, I was under the impression it needed to manually be processed by you guys ?

@thightower‌: The version 3 license is now automatically generated when someone purchases version 5. It's not necessary to email for one. :)
