Challenges I am having with 1P on my Mac

In order to Install the browser extensions on my Mac.....can I use Safari?
On my Mac at the present time I have Firefox as my default browser but I would like to be consistent since I am using Safari with (iPhone) 1P for iOS........or does it really makes any difference?
I was able to download EXTENSIONS ON FIREFOX BUT when I tried to download extensions on Safari, it took me to an application named "Pocket". I am beginning to think I am way
over my head here but I will try to persevere.

    Hi @joema9101,

    Here's a link for you to open with Safari to get the Safari extension. Copy and paste it into Safari's location bar, or click to open it if you are already reading this post in Safari:

    https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions

    You can use either or both browsers, which ever is convenient and most useful to you.
