dot settings file(s) in Dropbox folder

Hi,

in my Dropbox folder are three 1Password related items, one directory containing the Vault and two rather old
dot files (see screenshot).

Can I delete these dotfiles?

    Hi @choeger,

    As long as you are using the current version of 1Password on all devices, the .ws.agile.1Password.settings files can safely be deleted from Dropbox. :)

    Is there any way to prevent the Windows version of the application from creating the .ws.agile.1Password.settings file in the first place?

    Hi @Zook,

    No, 1Password 4 for Windows shouldn't recreate it unless you created a new vault or have an older version of 1Password in your ecosystem that requires it.
