Reward program PIN

I am trying to create a new Reward Program item in 1Password 5.1.2 on iOS 8.1.2. When I try to create the new item it only lets me create a numeric PIN. I just get a numeric keypad to enter the PIN. I need to add a PIN with letters. Why can't I do this? I used to be able to do this.

A "PIN" (personal identification number) is by definition numeric. So this is working as intended. But you can store any data that doesn't fall into one of the pre-defined categories in the 'notes' field. :)

    Thanks!

I just realized you can delete the PIN field and add a password field. That works. It's odd because I have 3 existing reward program items that have PINs with letters and numbers.

    Hi @ericdain‌,

Yes, adding another field is certainly another option. Thanks for letting us know you have a few reward programs with PINs containing letters, maybe we'll be able to allow for that in the PIN code field in the future. It does seem strange to have letters in a "PIN" code though, since the N stands for "number". ;)

By the way, if you happen to use 1Password for Mac, you can use that to enter letters in a PIN code field, and sync it to iOS. Otherwise, the workaround you found is fine.

If you need anything else, we're always happy to help!
