Need to delete ipassword fro. Mac book air

I recently purchased a new Mac book air and installed the app on the new laptop. The install is hopeless messed up and I am unable to sync. How can I uninstall the app and start over? Thanks!

    All you need to do is to follow very carefully the exact steps in this knowledge base article. Note that if you're syncing 1P data with an iOS device you should first disable sync.

    Thanks everyone for your comments! I discovered that I had 2 versions of iPassword in my app, and I think yhey were fighting each other. I opened the other version and everything was synced over from icloud! All is good. Now back to entering more data. Again thanks for info and thanks to agilbits for the great app!
