struggling to enter licence to stop trial expiry notice

I have a 1Password 4 licence, did the 1 password 5 upgrade but it no longer functions, saying trial expired.
I cannot find anywhere to enter the long 32 character code, it only requests a file which I cannot find anywhere on mac.

Help please

    I assume from your description that you purchased version 4 from the AgileBits web store, not from the Mac App Store.

    The license to version 4 is actually a license file, not a license code. The long character string you describe was last used in version 3. All you need to do is reapply the license file you used for version 4 to version 5. When you got version 4, you should have received an email message with directions on applying the license file. If you can find that message, you can just use the same instructions to register version 5. There is no additional charge.

    There is a post about undeserved expired license notices at the very top of this section of the forum, here. That should help you.

    If you need to have your license resent, you can make that request on this page by filling in the email address you used to make your purchase.

    Thank you.

    Tracking emails, I firstly bought 1 password 3, then paid for upgrade to 1 password 4 last year, I only have the 32 digit code, with these I cannot find anywhere a file which is a licence file, I have downloaded again the zip file, and requested the email again. Neither of these get me any further.

    If you don't have the original email or licence file then you can request it to be resent via this page.

    For 1Password 4/5 you will need to download your licence file from a link in the email and it should look a little like this:

    1Password 5 for Mac

    Name: littlebobbytables

    Download: https://agilebits.com/downloads

    Register: With 1Password downloaded, click here to automatically add your license

    Obviously I've stripped out the last two links as those are unique to the licensee. If you're viewing the email from within googlemail at all you may very well find the second URL is stripped out - thank you gmail :\

    The second or third link though should allow you to download your licence file so while we haven't attached the licence file, the information needed to obtain it should be contained within.

    If you're still having troubles post back here and we can look into it more for you.
