Sync across devices doesn't work anymore

Hello everyone.

I use 1Password on my Mac, iPhone and iPad.

On Mac, I have OS X 10.10.2 and 1Password 5.0.2.
On iPhone & iPad, I have iOS 8.1.2 and 1Password 5.1.2.

Sync is via Dropbox.

But for some reason, Sync doesn't work anymore. On Mac I have 145 items in vault, but on iOS only 123. And even after I press Sync, there is no change. Still 123 items.

Any idea on how to fix this? I've tried restart, delete and re-install the app, but nothing worked.

    I have the same problem. I can see that the Dropbox folder on my phone is up to date, but pressing Sync returns immediately, and the settings say that the last sync was 11 weeks ago.

  • The first thing I recommend doing is checking to see if your Mac is syncing to drop box properly. Note, these instructions assume 1Password on your Mac has up-to-date data.

    1. Go to Preferences > Sync and check to make sure it has synced recently. It should have synced the last time you made a change.
    2. Click on Backups in the Preferences, and click "Backup Now" to make a backup. (just in case)
    3. If the Mac has synced when it should, then you can reset sync on the iOS devices using the following instructions:
    • On your iOS devices, open 1Password for iOS, tap Settings > Sync > Sync Service, and tap Disable Sync.

    • Reboot the iOS devices.

    • Go back into the iOS app and re-enable Dropbox sync. That should get everything on the same page.

    Let me know how that works out. If your Mac hasn't synced recently (in step 1), let us know and we can provide instructions to reset sync on the Mac too.
