Problems with 1Password and Keychain

1Password has worked fine for me for several months until I had problem with Keychain. I finally got Keychain working OK and turned off but somehow the problem has affected 1Password. Prior to this problem, 1PW would open and fill correctly ... now 1PW opens but does not fill. Can anyone offer a suggestion how to correct this?

    Please tell us:

    1. What version of 1P you are using.
    2. Your OS X version number.
    3. The browser you are using.
    4. The version number of the 1P extension in the browser.

    Stephen:

    1PW - version 5.0.2
    OSX - 10.10.1
    Safari Browser - 8.0.2
    Browser Extension - do not know ... never initiate 1PW from the browser, open the application from the Applications folder

    I think we just need to check the 1P Safari extension is installed. Please go to Safari > Preferences > Extensions and see if you have 1Password listed there. If you do, please tell us the version number shown. If you don't then you need to install the Safari extension (go to 1P5 > Install Browser Extensions...).

    Stephen -- installed the extension per your instructions. However, nothing has changed ... when I select open and fill the website is opened but no fill.
    Any other suggestions? Regards Dave

    If you are able to give the URL of the non-working bank account (provided it contains nothing confidential) someone might be able to test for you and suggest how to get it working.

    Well it's great to hear Stephen_C managed to sort you out @davaz3‌

    Bank web sites are notoriously difficult to work with so we may not have any success with that one but as Stephen_C said, if you supply the URL we might be able to make a suggestion.

    Sometimes if a particular site isn't playing ball it can helpful to try creating a new Login item using the Saving a Login Manually guide. It isn't guaranteed to help but it sometimes can (see my remark about banks being difficult though!).
