When attempting to add license on new computer, the icon does not come up for adding license when I click on "License" under "File." Please advise.

If you look at this knowledge base article can you explain where exactly things go wrong for you? (The "License" menu item is under the "1Password" menu, not under "File" in my version. What version of 1P are you running?)

Hi. I'm using 1Password 5.0.2 for Mac. And you're right. It's under the 1Password menu.

    Hi @djsandroff‌

So is it step 3 that isn't working for you, where you can see your licence file. If you haven't downloaded it there was a link there to our support page where you can request your licences to be resent to you.

I do have one question. I can find a record of you having purchased 1Password 3 back in 2011 but I can't find a record of you having purchased a 1Password 4 or 5 licence. The upgrade from 1Password 3 to 4 was a paid one, is it possible you've made this purchase on a different email address?

I've got 5.1.2 on both my iPhone and iPad. Perhaps it's under my iCloud email: xxxxx@iCloud.com

Edited to remove email address. You don't want that spam the posting your address in a public forum will attract.

These devices do not show that I am still under a trial, so I know that I purchased it. Is there a separate purchase required for my computer(s)?

1P 5.1.2 is 1P for iOS. That is a completely separate product from 1P for Mac. To be absolutely clear, just because you have 1P for iOS does not mean you don't need to buy a licence for 1P for Mac.

    Hi @djsandroff,

I apologize for the confusion here. As Stephen_C says, 1Password for Mac is a separate purchase from 1Password for iOS.

You can purchase a license directly through our website, or if you would prefer, you can purchase via the Mac App Store. If you do decide to purchase from the Mac App Store, please have a look at our Migrate to the Mac App Store version article to ensure that your data transfers correctly.

I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions or concerns! :)
