I have 1pw syncing working fine with my iMac, older MBP, iOS devices. Received my new MBP 13" today. Trying to sync and it's stuck at 857 items (should be 1956). Looks like there's an old vault involved. Steps - disable sync, choose dropbox folder, merge with existing data base. Merge primary vault with dropbox vault. Then, it just spins doing nothing. Please advise. I would love to delete the primary vault, but not sure how. is it picking it up from old iCloud vault?

    Hi @dsquared22‌

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting your new Mac synced up here.

Merge primary vault with dropbox vault. Then, it just spins doing nothing.

You mention that 1Password seems to be getting "stuck". 1956 is a good sized database. Have you confirmed that Dropbox has fully synced? Are you getting any error messages when you see the spinning?

I would love to delete the primary vault, but not sure how. is it picking it up from old iCloud vault?

It is not possible to delete the primary vault without Starting Over. You can try those instructions on your new computer to try to set up sync fresh. If you're setting up Dropbox sync, there should be no conflict with old iCloud data. Does 1Password say that it is looking for data in iCloud?

Thanks, Megan. I was leaning toward "Starting Over", too. I did and now all is well.
