Syncing existing vault from version 3 to version 5 not working

Hi,

I'm following the instructions from 1Password v5 to try and sync with version 3 but nothing is happening. These are the steps I'm taking:

Open 1Password v5

  • Sync existing vault
  • Import from version 3
  • Open 1Password 3

I then get a prompt in version 3:

  • Migrate to 1Password 4
  • I then enter my password for 1Password 3

After this nothing happens (other than accessing my 1Password 3 app)

I've repeated this numerous times and nothing happens. 1Password 5 is not updated.

Please advise on how I should do this.

    Hi @rufeus,

    I'm sorry the import option doesn't seem to be working! This might have something to do with the exact version of 1Password 3 on your device. Can you please let me know the exact version number? In the 1Password 3 app, the version number should be shown in Settings > About.
