How to sync with Mac/Win/iOS
Hi!
I've been using 1password for iOS and Mac, syncing via Dropbox, for a while now. It's an absolutely fantastic experience!
After starting to use 1password, it's emphasized what I already knew - I have even more passwords at work, and you know how it goes. What I would like to do is to buy 1password for Windows, sync it with my iPhone, and be done with it. The trouble is, I'm not sure how to go about that. My work place's policy is to disallow Dropbox, so I'm not too keen on installing it. What is a reasonable workflow for me? Using dropbox sync across my mac/iphone, and wifi sync to manually sync iphone/windows at work whenever I remember to do that?
Is it possible to have two different password vaults on one iphone, one syncing with Wifi to Windows/work and the other via Dropbox/private mac? It appears that this is impossible in the app (I can only select Dropbox sync for new vaults), which seems a bit odd...
Cheers,
Paul

As noted in the Syncing your 1Password data article in the 1Password 4 for Windows user's guide, Dropbox is the only solution that automatically syncs 1Password for iOS, Mac, and Windows.
You could, as you may surmise from the article, use Dropbox (or other method) to sync 1Password on your Mac and iPhone automatically and Wi-Fi sync (at work) to sync 1Password on your iPhone and PC manually.
Of course, you'd have to remember to do it whenever anything changed on any of the devices, or things could get out of sync pretty quickly.

Right, this all makes sense. What seems like a good plan is to have one vault on the iphone/Mac/private and another for iphone/win7/work. However, when creating a new vault on the phone, I'm only able to select dropbox sync, and no other sync options are present. Is the setup I'm describing even possible?
If I go for the one vault solution, my iphone tells me that I have to disable dropbox sync to enable wifi sync, and that locally cached data will be deleted. This doesn't seem like the way to go...

Ugh—that must be something (relatively) new in 1Password for iOS. Sorry if I pointed you down a dead-end path.
I'll ask someone more familiar with 1Password for iOS to join the conversation.

No one offered to join, so I'll try to communicate what they said.
I believe one problem is that 1Password for iOS can sync only a primary vault over Wi-Fi, so the "work" vault would need to be the primary vault, allowing you to sync it between your iPhone and your PC. Then your secondary vault would be your "home" vault, which you could sync using Dropbox between your Mac and your iPhone.
Most folks agreed that switching sync methods on the iPhone, so you could use a single vault, might lead to "issues."
Just in case I've gotten this wrong, I'm moving the thread to the 1Password for iOS forum, where it'll catch the eye of folks with the right area of expertise.
