App Store: 1pw v4 won't download

Hi there, I have an old stand-alone version of 1pw v3 on OSX and recently upgraded to v5 on the App Store when I upgraded my system to Yosemite. Well, Yosemite was a nightmare and I restored back to Mountain Lion. Well, I'd still like to use a newer 1pw. I saw that I should be able to install v4.4.3 on ML, but when I try to upgrade the "latest compatible version" via the App Store, it downloads v3 instead of v4. Can you please help?
