Setting up another computer.
I have set up 1Password5 on my laptop and try to put it on my iMac. When I open the app I get a window with an option "I've used before". I click that and get a screen "Where is your data?" Next I click "another device" and then given the option of 2 buttons, cancel and more info. When I click more info it takes me to a page with instructions for 1Password4. I don't have a lot of time to mess with this so I'm getting pretty frustrated. I am I better off just using Safari Keychains?

Hi @lisazbikes
I'm sorry you've been having problems here and I assume you want to keep these two Macs in sync going forward.
By default 1Password will not sync your vault, it has to be configured to do so. You may find that odd but it's actually a behaviour many of our customers like - they have control over where and even if it syncs.
Now depending on where you purchased 1Password from you will have one or two easy sync options.
- If you purchased 1Password from Apple's Mac App Store (MAS) then you can set up syncing using either iCloud or Dropbox. Please note though that as of iOS 8 and Yosemite, to use iCloud all Macs and iOS devices must be running 1Password 5 and it 1Password must have been purchased via Apple.
- If you purchased 1Password directly from us (AWS) then you can set up syncing using Dropbox.
The first step is to set up syncing on your laptop as it has your existing vault.
- To set up Dropbox syncing you will want to follow our Sync with Dropbox page.
- To set up iCloud syncing you will want to follow our Sync with iCloud page.
Then on your iMac you should find the Starting Over guide contains the information you need although you may not need even that. If 1Password finds sync data in either iCloud or Dropbox it will just ask for your Master Password for that vault.
If you have any questions about any of this please do ask and apologies for the less than useful another device option.
