Master Password Inconsistency Across Devices
I used 1 password on my MacBook Air, iPhone and iPad. Yesterday I started using a iMac as well. I installed 1Password on it and it synced with my data on iCloud. However when I use the Master Password that I use for my MacBook Air, iPhone and iPad it does not work. I do not know what the Master Password that it is requesting is.

Have you recently changed your master password? If so, have you tried using the old master password?

Hi @gfreney,
It's a known issue on our end that if you change the Master Password on one device synced via iCloud, that that password is not sync'ed to other devices. So you will need to use the old password on those other devices or manually change them there too. Everything will keep working fine even though the different devices have different passwords. The Master Password syncing issue has been fixed and will ship as part of 1Password for Mac 5.1 and 1Password for iOS 5.2. When you upgrade to 5.1/5.2 you'll want to update your Master Password once more on any device. You can give it the same Master Password, but the act of going through the Change Master Password flow will push up your new Master Password to iCloud. Otherwise the password on iCloud will stay the old password.
I hope this helps.

I have the same symptom among my devices. I'm using Dropbox vault and I've been using the same master password on all devices since day 1, yet on my second Mac onto which I installed 1Password, it will not accept my Master Password when pointing to the same vault file stored in Dropbox. Why would the newest device (Mac) not accept the master password that my iPhone, 2 Windows computers and another Mac all use fine?

Hi @msenkbeil
We've recently released 1Password 5.1 for Mac and 1Password 5.2 for iOS that include fixes for a few of these issues. To best help you it's important we know what you are running where.
If you've never changed your password then you're correct, that is indeed odd. Does this page on Master Password not accepted help at all? I'm thinking more modifiers e.g. Caps Lock or the keyboard layout here.
Do keep us informed.
