Anybody who knows why I get the message when trying to install the downloaded 1Password 5 for Mac from the site (https://agilebits.com/downloads) :

"You can't use this version of the program "1Password 5" with this version of OS X"
"You have OS X 10.9.5. The program needs OS X 10.10 or newer"

But I just updated Yosemity and as far as i can see in the App store the newest version is OS X 10.9.5

I don't get it anyone knows what I have done wrong

Are you sure you're running OS X Yosemite? The only reason I ask is that Yosemite is 10.10 and the latest release version is 10.10.1.

strange i will check up - but i'm sure it is Yosemity that is installed on this brand new Mac book pro retina - And i cannot see a newer version in app store

...also it worked installing it on my older Mac book pro with Yosemite

But thanks for the info i'm closer to the solution now for sure ;)
