1Password 5 icloud sync

I purchased 1password through the MAS, which is the only license info that I seem to be able access, but icloud sync doesn't pop up as an option in my Preferences. I purchased 1password mid-2013 and am not sure when exactly it was upgraded. Is it an upgrade to 1password 5 issue? Any help appreciated.

    I think we need to know the version number of 1P for iOS you are trying to sync to. However, if in the meantime you look at the AgileBits iCloud FAQ you may well be able to find the answer yourself. If not, please post again.

    You don't need any specific licence for 1P5 from the Mac App Store.

    If you purchased 1Password 5 directly from our website, then iCloud sync is no longer an option.

    1Password 5 switched to the new Apple iCloud "CloudKit" technology which is only available on OS X Yosemite and iOS 8, and limited to Mac App Store apps only. After this change we were no longer able to offer iCloud syncing in the web store version of 1Password.

    Now if you did purchase from the Mac App Store and can't see the iCloud option, you're probably running our web store version. The easiest way to tell is to go to 1Password > About 1Password, it will say either Agile Web Store or Mac App Store.
