Mac -> IOS sync issues
Just thought I'd throw this out there since it seemed like sub-optimal behavior:
I wanted to change my master password and my Dropbox password. I changed my dropbox password first, then my master password. First weird thing: I noticed that I didn't have to re-enter my dropbox password on my local machine after I changed it on the dropbox website. Which means there is a situation where a local dropbox is still accessing 1password stuffs without the most current password. Guess that's just a basic flaw in Dropbox? Anyway, so then I switched over to ios & expected syncing to have stopped since my iPhone didn't have the correct dropbox or 1password passwords anymore. To my surprise everything was still hooked up and working. So I guessed the dropbox issue was the same as on osx (doesn't need the new password) -- I stopped syncing with dropbox & cleared all the local data, then re-added my dropbox account with the new dropbox password. At that point, 1password asked me if I'd like to merge vaults & recommended that I didn't do that since they were different (one has 171 passwords, & the other had 172). I thought what the hell & merged them. I worried a little that my new 1password master password would be overwritten by the old one still stored on the ios device (maybe?). Anyway, it worked & everything is sync'd up now, just thought I'd share this story since I'm not sure what the best practices protocol for updating / syncing master passwords is, while updating the dropbox password at the same time (I like to do them both at once).

This is an intentional behavior of Dropbox. If you want to disconnect a device from your account you'd use the unlink feature:

Correct.
It sounds like your issue is really more with Dropbox than with 1Password, but if I've missed something please let us know. :)
