I was using the iPhone 4s ios7. I switched to the iPhone 5s ios8. I installed 1Password has a new phone, but does not see the data in the cloud, please help

    Please tell us:

    1. what version of 1P you are using on your phone and on your Mac;
    2. how you have been syncing your phone and your Mac previously (Dropbox or iCloud).

    5.1.2 is the version of 1P for iOS. What version do you have on you Mac please? We do need to know both version numbers as I previously requested.

    You don't say what you are syncing to via iCloud. A Mac? In any case, when iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) arrived, the method for syncing by iCloud changed in the 1Password 5.x versions for each operating system. Your iPhone 4s with iOS 7 would not have has access to this method. I suspect this explains why you aren't seeing your data, but I'm afraid I don't know what you should do.

    I am sure that those who can help will need to know the answer to my first question about the other end of you syncing, including operating system version.

    Sorry, I think I was misunderstanding, I believe you are trying to sync data between your old phone and the new one.

    I suspect the problem is that iCloud sync will not work between iOS 7 and iOS 8. Have a look at the AgileBits iCloud FAQ. You will see from that the recommended solution is to use either wifi or Dropbox to sync your 1P data.
