Need read-only access to a shared vault on Mavericks
My main machine runs 1P 5 (purchased through the App Store) on OS X Yosemite. We have a Mac mini in our living room running OS X Mavericks that needs to use a shared vault (read only). Can I generate a 1P 4 license for it with my App Store receipt? Or, will the version of 1P 4 that I downloaded from your web store be sufficient as a read-only "client" after the 30-day trial has expired? Thanks.

Hi @khoi,
Can I generate a 1P 4 license for it with my App Store receipt?
Because you have purchased 1Password 5 in the Mac App Store, you should be able to download 1Password 4 for Mac via the App Store on your computer running Mavericks. If you have any difficulties there, please email your Mac App Store receipt in to us at support+licenses@agilebits.com and we'll be happy to generate a 1Password 4 license for your older computer.
Now, as far as the 'read-only' bit goes, at this time 1Password doesn't have an option to make the database read-only. If you're syncing with Dropbox, you can see if 1PasswordAnywhere does what you need, however it was originally designed for 1Password 3, so it's missing a few features from 1Password 5.
I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions or concerns. :)
