Incorrect master password

Hi,

I'm using 1password 5.0.2 on my mac and want to retrieve my vault on my iPhone and iPad.
It used to work well and a while ago, sync stopped working and the vault on my iOS devices became outdated.
I decided to remove it and start from scratch. I tried using iCloud and Dropbox sync without any success. iOS apps always tell me "Incorrect password" when I'm asked to enter it. The hint is the last one I set so I figure the sync works well. I'm sure on my password and have no problem unlocking it on my mac.

I have already tried :

• Deleting the Dropbox sync, deleting the file and starting the sync over
• Deleting the iCloud sync, deleting the file and starting sync over
• Deleting my vault on the mac, creating a new one, restoring the old one on the new one and starting the sync process again. Once again, the iOS apps will always tell me "incorrect password".

What else can I try?

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble getting sync working. Could you please tell me if when you have Dropbox sync enabled you are able to login to 1PasswordAnywhere?

Yes, I have no trouble opening it from 1PasswordAnywhere.

Is it possible 1Password might be selecting the wrong data file on Dropbox to pull data from?

Can you do a search on Dropbox.com to see if there is more than one .agilekeychain folder?

Hi Guys,

I just figured it out. My master password had a * in it and I did not think of it's wildcard role.
Changing it to another character solved the sync issue.
