Can't synch with ipad

I have 1 password installed on my PC laptop and my iphone and have been using successfully for over 6 months. I am unable to sync with my wife's ipad even though I purchased a family license. The phone and laptop are both using the newest IOS operating system. When I follow instructions to enable synching via wifi a message tells me to choose synch and wifi on my ipad, but there is no option on the settings menu on the ipad to choose sync. I did allow synch and wifi on my laptop. Can you help?

  • In 1Password on the iPad, tap Settings (the gear icon). Sync is the third option. Tap that and then tap Start Syncing.
