I just purchased 1password 5. It crashes when I open it on my Mac Mini 2012 (Yosemite). I have tried what people suggest it the forums: deleting, rebooting, re-downloading and trying again. It didn't work. version 4 doesn't work either (however, version 3 doesn't crash).
I was very excited to start using my new program but this is very frustrating :( Hope you can help.

Here's the crash report I get (won't let me post it all). Thanks!

  • Hi @furazaka‌

I suspect this has something to do with running a beta version of OS X. Do you have a partition with 10.10.1 installed? Does it work there?

Also, did you purchase 1Password from the Mac App Store or from the AgileBits web store?

Hey! Thanks for replying. I bought it from the AgileBits store. The beta may be the culprit, indeed. Will test on different version. Thanks.

Reverted back to the previous OS version and now it's working. Thanks for your help!

  • Glad to hear it is working. FYI, we are working hard to make sure it is compatible when 10.10.2 is released.
