wifi sync fails: iOS 8.latest, two macs on Yosemite
For the last few weeks, I've been unable to sync between my iOS (8, latest) and multiple macs running Yosemite and up-to-date 1Password.
I updated one of the macs to the latest 1Password beta, but the behavior remains. No settings have changed on either device (as far as trust/firewalls/etc). Because this failure takes place between my mobile device and multiple macs, I assume the problem lies on the iOS side.
Behavior is:
1. Hit "sync" button on iOS device
2. See "updating n / n" statistic, updates to 100%
3. Status remains in perpetuity, never goes to "Sync completed" step.
Hitting "cancel" after waiting on the 100% status, then hitting Sync again causes "starting sync" to appear for a few seconds then disappear entirely. Quitting the app and relaunching restores the above (1.2.3) behavior, which is still problematic.
Upon hitting the "wifi Sync" screen on iOS and before attempting a sync, the "last sync" date is still old (several weeks at this point). I'm not sure if the transfer takes place (watching "updating..." numbers increment) and just some finalization/sync date update doesn't take place, or if the whole action is incorrect.
I don't want to delete the iOS app and reinstall, as I'm not sure what state things are in as far as its records go - don't want to risk losing data from my mobile device if the macs are not being properly updated.
What actions can I take to troubleshoot this? I don't want to enable an online sync (iCloud, dropbox), I've always only used wifi/local data/syncing.

Hi @highfructose,
Can you tell me if you have any attachments in your 1Password database? We found a bug a while ago that sounds like your issue and we've fixed it but it is going to require an update to both Mac and iOS versions. We've submitted both to Apple already and are waiting for their approval. Once both are released, you should be able to update to this and see this issue magically resolves itself.
Basically the problem is that during the sync with the attachment, it'd get stuck in a loop, which is why you never see the sync completes at all.
To confirm that you're affected by this bug, can you email me your diagnostic report from the iOS device to support+forum@agilebits.com with a link to this thread, please also include your forum username.
If I can confirm the bug, then you'll need to wait for our updates, which should be out in a week or two but it all depends on Apple at this point.
If it is not unrelated, we'll work with you to figure this out.

I've sent the requested diagnostic report from my iOS device.
I don't believe I have attachments in my database, but am unsure how to check. Is there an easy way to locate records that may have attachments?

Thanks, @highfructose. Could you please post the ticket ID for your report? You should've received a confirmation email with that information.
