Failed to go & fill - Lowes Home Improvement website
Yosemite 10.10.1
Agile Store version 5.0.2
Firefox 35.0
I've tried several entry points to Lowes website. They all require UserID (my email address) and a password.
One has a single page for UserID and Password. Another appears to require a 2-step login (agree to picture) + password
On the 2-step login page I get an error message saying "...can not complete that operation"
On the 1-step login page I get an error message saying "Failed to go and fill"
Any suggestions ?

This web address works for me:

I went to the main Lowe's page and selected the login function. Then I checked the URL details.

The url that caused the error msg is in the pic of my comment #1, above.
(Also, please see my comment below - I may have mislead everyone in what I am trying to do.)

The url that you posted takes me to a general entry page, which is not exactly what I am looking to do.

I have probably mislead everyone in what I am trying to do, and I apologize for that.
I am wanting to access my Lowe's Credit Card account, and apparently that is different from the "My Lowes" url's for shopping (add to cart) etc.
So far, I have managed to make only one 15P login at the following "Credit Card -> Manage Your Account" page:
This login is a 2-step login to Lowes.com. The first screen enters my UserId (my email address)...
Then it requires the User to manually click on the first Login button, and wait for the next screen.
Then the User must click a second time on the Password button. It’s clutsy, but it works and unfortunately neither the forward slash nor the return keys can replace the manual clicks.
I'd like to learn more about these 2-step logins, so if anyone has suggestions.... ?

Sorry but I can't help you with that. I don't have a Lowe's credit card.
Edit...
Actually, I can help. You need two 1P entries, one for the username and a separate one for the password. In the cases where I have to do that, I very cleverly named them #1 and #2. You then need to hit CMD-backslash twice.0 -
I tried the URL in the image but it wouldn't resolve at all so I was hoping copy and paste would yield better joy.

I am pretty sure that I started out on this page in my attempt to create a 2 step login ... by entering my email address.
https://credit.lowes.com/LowesMarketing/marketing/LowesLogin.jsp
But I have since trashed all of my Lowes login failures, so I can't copy/paste the FailedToGo url directly.
I've just noticed that that web page has several Lowes card options, and maybe the wrong card was set by default for my CC account ????
The only 2-step login working for me now is the one I described in comment #7 above, which starts at this same url with the CC blue card selected.
I'll try again for Plato's suggestion about creating 2 logins (Loes_#1 and Lows#2), but using the CMD-backslash is not altogether different than mousing-clicking the buttons... But I'll keep trying, if nothing else to learn more about 15P

FWIW, I found the learning curve for 1P to be a bit painful but, once I had the bulk of my logins set up, I began to feel comfortable.
Make sure that you copy the full URL for the two pages associated the the #1 & #2 logins. While you're there, click in the Safari address box to display the full URL.

Hi @Lamplighter Keep us informed and we'll certainly try to make sure you can use 1Password to log into your sites.
Typically the first step we advise is to see if Saving a Login Manually helps. After that we ask for the actual URL, if possible, so we can investigate it directly. As I say, I tried the URL in the image but couldn't reach it at all.

Thanks for your help and efforts. I'm feeling we have spent enough time trying to make this work.
I believe that this particular web site does not behave as others via the "Saving a login manually" approach, in that there are 2 pages (UserID followed by Password), and they both require the me to manually click each page's "Signin" button to trigger the next action. In any case, thanks again for your time and efforts.

Hi @Lamplighter,
I'm sorry that this site is being so difficult for you. I've done some testing here (with the first page only since I don't actually own a Lowes credit card) and I can confirm that 1Password will fill the username correctly on this page, but will not correctly select the appropriate card. So I've filed an improvement request with our filling gurus.

With respect to having to click the 'Sign In' button yourself, that's fairly common on some of these multi-page Logins. It might help to confirm though that you do have 'Automatically submit logins after filling' selected in Preferences > Browser and that the 'submit' option within the entry itself is also enabled.

Hi @Lamplighter,
You might also want to check if you can get better results by starting from one of the specific Lowe's Credit Services pages found in Google search results for site:credit.lowes.com login that doesn't require a radio button selection.
