reinstalling 1 Password
I just had a bad virus and had to wipe my MacBook Pro OS 10.9.5 (Maverick). I'm trying to do a clean install, and from the information my data retrieval company saved for me, I come up with an older version of 1 Password. I have tried, for hours, to update, and can't. One problem is that originally my version of 1 Password was registered to someone who used to work with me. This was a couple of years ago, and I forgot about it.
However, I tried his email and the password I've always used for 1 Password, as well as my own email and password. Nothing works, and I'm unable to update. When I look, I see that I'm registered, with the correct license key.
What can I do to update?
Thanks in advance,
Hillary

My email is: [email deleted]. What can I do to have 1 Password registered in my name, now that I am not working with the person who originally got this for me?

@hillaryturner this is a public forum so I have deleted your email address to protect you from spammers harvesting it.
Send an email to support+licenses @ agilebits.com with the following information, with your request:
- your full name and the full name used when your purchased 1P (i.e., presumably the name of your employee);
- the full address used when you purchased 1P;
- the approximate date you bought 1P;
- the email address used when you purchased 1P;
- a link to this thread.
You will receive an automatic response with a ticket number. Post that number in this thread, which will help AgileBits connect the two.

Depending on the situation (so a little clarification may be required) this could be problematic.
To quote our AgileBits Software Licenses page.
Licenses can not be transfered or re-sold.
We'll do our best to work with you but if all the details of the purchase reference another person it might be tricky. Please do email us though so we can better understand the full picture.
