Getting tired of having to reinstall 1Password extension...

I have a MBA running Yosemite 10.10.1 with 1Password 5 (ver 5.0.2). Every so often 1Password fails to complete the autolog-on with various sites. When this happens and I check Safari's extensions, 1Password's extension has disappeared, requiring me to once again download it.

1Password's extension is 4.2.5 if that matters. Anyone know why my 1Password Safari extension intermittently disappears? Great program except for tis reoccurring problem.

  • Hi @Starflyer‌,

I'd like you to try this. If you have any other extensions installed in Safari, you will need to reinstall those as well.

    1. Quit Safari
    2. Open the Keychain Access utility. (It is located in Utilities. In the Finder, choose Utilities from the Go menu)
    3. Find the entry named "Safari Extensions List" (it should be in the "login" keychain) and delete it.
    4. After deleting that entry, quit Keychain Access.
    5. Start Safari and reinstall the 1Password extension.

Please let us know how if that fixes the problem.
