Synching issue [Resolved]
How exactly do I keep 1Password up to date on my other computers? I primarily use my laptop, and have iCloud backup turned on. iCloud is also turned on on the other devices. I thought that when I used my iPad or desktop computer, they would automatically update the 1Password logins, etc, but they don't. What's the trick?

Can you please tell us:
- what version of 1P for Mac you are running;
- what version of 1P for iOS you are running (1P for iOS is a separate product from 1P for Mac and you need both in order to sync 1P data between a Mac and an iOS device);
- your OS X and iOS operating system version numbers.
Finally, did you buy 1P for Mac from the Mac App Store or direct from the AgileBits store?

That's very helpful information, thanks. I suspect the reason you can't use iCloud to sync will be clear if you take a look at the AgileBits iCloud FAQ. I suspect your iPad is probably using iCloud Drive and that's why it won't sync with 1P4 on your Mac.
If that's correct and you continue running OS X 10.9 you won't be able to upgrade to 1P5 for Mac (which runs only on OS X 10.10, but which would enable you to use iCloud to sync your 1P data). That means using either Dropbox or local wifi to sync your 1P data. There's more guidance on those options here in the knowledge base.
