iphone 6 and iPad not synching with Mac desktop 1password

I have read all the posts about how to fix this issue and tried it all (except I got scared off from the "Advanced Troubleshooting" directions as it seemed to suggest I would end up deleting all my 1password data).

I am running the the latest updates and operating systems (5.1.2 for 1password, iOS 8.1.2 for iphone/ipad, and Yosemite for iMac)

I can't seem to get my iOS devices to synch with changes showing on my desktop. This is basically rendering 1password on iOS useless.

PLEASE help!

    It's really rather difficult to help you without knowing how you're trying to sync. :) What sync method are you using: iCloud, Dropbox or local wifi sync? Please also confirm specifically what version of 1P you are using on your Mac and whether you bought it from the Mac App Store or direct from the AgileBits store.

    Sorry for forgetting to mention that. Trying to synch via iCloud (which has always worked in the past, before the updates). I am using the newest version of 1password, updated a few days ago from the App Store (but the synch to the iOS devices wasn't working prior to that update either- not exactly sure when it stopped working...maybe when I updated the iOS software from the App Store).

    Greatly appreciate your advice. I should mention I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling 1password on my iPhone in hopes that might help, but no luck.

    Is the data on 1Password on your Mac up to date, or do you have new information on both devices? If your Mac's 1Password data is up-to-date, you can try resetting 1Password on iOS. Do not do this if you have new data in 1Password in iOS, and let us know.

    1. Go into the Preferences on your Mac and make a backup. This isn't absolutely necessary, but I always recommend this, just in case.
    2. On each iOS device, go into the 1Password settings (the Gear icon) and choose Advanced > Erase Data and Settings. 1Password will quit.
    3. Relaunch 1Password on the iOS device and setup a new vault using Sync.

    Let us know if that works or not. There is more we can try if this doesn't work, but this is a relatively simple solution.
