Purchased a 1PW 5 license, but it's not on my Mac
I've purchased 1 PW 5 and just received the email from Agile Bits that confirms this fact. I've downloaded and installed 1 PW 5, but the license does not appear to be on my computer. I've followed all the support and install instructions, but 1 PW cannot find the license and neither can I.
Thank you for your help.

Do you by any chance use gmail? If so, there's a known problem, which I'm not sure has yet been fixed, where gmail strips out part of the licence that you need. However, there should still be something which says at the bottom View the complete installation steps and if you click on that link you should be able to install the licence.
If that doesn't work please post again explaining exactly what you see in the licence email (without giving any confidential information like the link to the licence itself, of course).

Hi Stephen, What you're describing is in fact what's happening—the link is stripped out of the email. The email is titled "Your Agile Licenses; Below are all your licenses purchased from the Agile Bits store." It says I've purchased 1 PW 3 and 1 PW 5, and there is no link in the Register line. And when I click on the "view installation steps" link and follow those directions, no license is found.
For example, if I open up 1PW 5 and select "License", a "Trial Expired" window comes up. I then click "Add License", but no license is found on my computer, including the downloads folder, even though I had just re-downloaded and re-installed 1 PW 5.
Is it possible I haven't actually purchased what I'm supposed to purchase and that I really do just have the trial version?
Thanks.

I'm guessing (and it is a pure guess) that when you try to add the licence file from the View complete installation steps link there is some confusion at the AgileBits end between your 1P3 and 1P5 licences.
As I don't work for AgileBits I don't have access to their records so please wait for someone from AgileBits to come along later and sort things out for you. Sorry about the problem.

Do I need to do anything to attract the attention of an AgileBits tech? :) Or just wait? Thanks.

Just have a little patience—they always turn up. I suspect things are just a little busy at the moment preparing for new Mac and iOS updates. :)
Edit: if you've only just purchased you have a 30 day free trial anyway before things start to go read only.

For 1Password 4/5 you will need to download your licence file from a link in the email and it should look a little like this:
1Password 5 for Mac
Name: littlebobbytables
Download: https://agilebits.com/downloads
Register: With 1Password downloaded, click here to automatically add your license
Notes:
No link? Link not working? View the complete installation steps.
Obviously I've stripped out the last two links as those are unique to the licensee. If you're viewing the email from within googlemail at all you may very well find the second URL is stripped out - thank you gmail :\
The second or third link though should allow you to download your licence file so while we haven't attached the licence file, the information needed to obtain it should be contained within.
If you're still having troubles post back here and we can look into it more for you.

Thank you for posting.
And yes, as I stated above, I have followed the installation steps two separate times and there appears to be no license on my computer. I have a gmail message exactly as you describe and I followed the third link to no avail.
So if you could please check into it further, I'd appreciate it.

I just sent you a private message with a direct link to your license. Please make sure that you check your /Downloads folder for the license file and double-click it.
A new Software License item should be created in your 1Password vault.
Hope that this helps
Cheers!
