Lost password removing conflicts

I noticed that I had a conflict in one of my logins with an obsolete password so I deleted the obsolete password then deleted the conflict with no bad effects. THEN I noticed another of my logins with a conflict - this time the password in the conflict area was the same as my current password. So I deleted the conflict and my password is now gone in both places. :( I can't remember it because it was a generated password. :( Is there any way to retrieve it and why did this happen? This is the only problem I have ever had with 1password.

So I deleted the conflict and my password is now gone in both places.

Is it not still in the Trash folder? (I'm assuming 1P for iOS has a trash folder, but can't check that specifically just at the moment.)

  • View the login item and look in "Saved form details" or in "Previously Used Passwords" to see if the password is there.

We're not aware of any issues with deleting conflicts, but we will look into it and attempt to reproduce it. If you see this happen again, please let us know. Also, if you can let us know which devices you sync with (Mac, Windows, iOS, etc.) and which method (iCloud, WiFi, or DropBox) that will help with investigating.
