upgraded on agile website 1password 5 to sync with iCloud now understand can not do this ???

I have previously synced with dropbox. I am using Mac 10.10.1 Yosemite and iOS 8.1.1 ...Tonight I purchased the upgrade version of 1 password 5 on your web site to begin syncing with iCloud..It will not work...then I read that I should have purchased on the apple site..very confusing. Can I get credit for what I just bought? and rebut on the apple site. I originally purchased 1 password on your site.

    AgileBits will refund you purchase cost to enable you to buy 1P from the Mac App Store so long as you bought from AgileBits within the past 30 days (which you obviously did). Please wait for someone from AgileBits to come along to tell you how to process the refund.

    I've found a record of your purchase and I can go ahead and refund you if you wish but I just wanted to clarify one aspect first if I may.

    When we make sales via our site we have total control. We can offer existing users a discount like you made use of. We ask for your previous licence key and apply a discount to the full price. Sadly Apple's Mac App Store (MAS) offers us very limited control, basically none. We can't offer a person or selected group a discount meaning there is no way to transition AWS users to MAS or offer a discount price to previous users. We'd love to but the facility just isn't there.

    So what I'd like to confirm is if you desire iCloud enough that you still want to go ahead. I can refund you no problems but a MAS purchase would have to be at the price displayed in Apple's App Store application on your Mac. Once you've confirmed your wishes we can go ahead if that is what you would like. We offer a 30 day refund so you have plenty of time to make your decision.
