I have 1 password installed on iPAd (v 5.1.2) , Android Phone (v 4.1.6) and Mac (v 5,02). I use dropbox to sync between the evices. It worked perfect until a I noted a few weeks ago that the iPad did not sync anymore. I removed the program, erased dat and installed it again on my Ipad.

I set it up for syncing with an existing vault in dropbox, after login in in my Dp acct it finds the vault (1password.agilekeychain) file. There´s only one file in all dropboc account with that name, no other vaults are in dropbox either. The Then it asks for the Pw of the vault, which opens correctly.
afterwrds the vault opens with no ite and an error message appears " The 1password.agilekeychain file cannot be found in Dropbox. Syncing has been duisabled. - dismiss".
I press dismiss and there´s a small wheel with syncing in the categories pane. after half an hour nothing happens. I goto settings, Sync and Start syncing. (with dropbox). It gets my correct dropbox account and vaultname (same as above). I choose the vault , it telsls that its looking for the encrypting keys (2 secs or so). And then a message apears " The password.agilekeychain file cannot be found in Dropbox. Syncing has been duisabled. - dismiss",

So it does not work whilst it used to work flawlessly.

Syncing over wifi works fine, but hat is not what I want.

Syncing between android device and mac via dropbox works perfectly well.

Any ideas how to solve this?

  • Hi @Elsewhere‌

Could you please try logging into 1PasswordAnywhere for me from your Mac and see if that works?

Please let me know if things appear properly there.

Hi Ben, I just had access to 1 passwordAnywhere according to the tutorial and all seems fine, yesterday I added some items and they appear in the browser too. The number of items (password etc) are the same as on the local mac.
