1Password on iOS7 - not appearing in Purchased list

Hi all, thanks in advance for your help.

I've just purchased 1Password v5 on my Mac (running OSX 10.10.1). I have iOS7.1.2 on my iPhone 4, but 1Password v5 is only available for iOS8 or greater.

The advice on this (and other) forums to install it on my iPhone is to go to App store, updates, purchased and install (a previous version) of 1Password from that list. Unfortunately it does not appear on the list in my phone?

I've searched the forum but could not find any information so I've started this new thread. Could anyone please help me get 1Password onto my phone?

    Thanks for the response Stephen - but that's not a workaround for my problem. As I said in my original post, 1Password is not appearing on in my purchased list.

    Yes, I'm well aware of that. That was the reason I suggested the linked work around, which says (my emphases):

    Basically you'll need to use iTunes on Mac or Windows to download 1Password 5 for iOS, then go to App Store > Updates > Purchased on your iOS 7 device and find 1Password 5 in the list. When you try to download it from there, it should give you the option to download version 4.

    I'm unclear why you think that is not a work around for your problem. If you look again at the post to which I linked you'll find in it a link to an even more detailed explanation of what should work, and why you have to do it.

    I'm sorry if I'm missing something but it does seem to me that I'm suggesting something that should work for you!

    Thank you for replying again Stephen, I appreciate your time and patience to help me.

    Apologies, I must not be being very clear in my communication. Here is the list of instructions in the work around thread, I have successfully completed steps 1-7 but I cannot do step 8.

    1. Launch iTunes on your Mac
    2. Go to "App Store" tab in iTunes.
    3. Find and "purchase" 1Password. This will be the iOS 8 version (Version 5, I guess).
    4. Close iTunes.
      5.In your iOS 7 device, tap to open "App Store".
    5. Tap on "Purchased".
    6. Search for "1Password".
    7. Tap download to install.

    When I do step 7 (search for "1Password") no results are found. 1Password does not appear anywhere in my purchased list, so it is impossible for me to do step 8 (tap download to install).

    It's possible the purchase may be hidden for some reason. Have a look at this Apple support article and if it helps at all.

    Brilliant, not sure how it got hidden but I've now got it installed on my iPhone.
