Help request: Migrate info from V 3.7.2 to V 5.1.2 in IOS
Hello,
I am trying to migrate my information from 1Password V 3.7.2 to V 5.1.2 on an iPhone 5S running IOS 8.1.2
I have followed these instructions:
https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-ios-kb/4/en/topic/upgrading-from-legacy-versions
I am able to follow them up to the screen where V5 asks to unlock the v3 database.
I have tried entering the master password (which is the same for both versions) and the unlock code and both cases give the same result (or lack thereof)
In both cases the dialogue asking to unlock the v3 database disappears and nothing happens.
I am put back into the V5 Categories screen where it's asking me to start adding information to a blank V5 database.
There's no visible information telling me the import failed.
I have tried deleting and reinstalling v5.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to complete this migration or how to troubleshoot what may be going wrong?
Is there any other path to take the information from v3 to a newer version?

Hi, bwoodruff.
I am also trying to migrate my information from 1Password V 3.7.2. Restarting iPhone did't help. How to complete this migration?0 -
Are you following this guide?
If so which step do you get to where you run into problems?

Okay. In that case, we do have a solution, but it takes a couple extra steps:
https://support.1password.com/upgrade-ios/#what-if-1password-3-doesn-t-prompt-me-to-upgrade-
Sorry for the extra work! Hopefully that will get your data into 1Password 5 for iOS for you though. Please let us know how it turns out. :)
