1password 5 mac will not prompt to save new passwords

I had a free version of 1password mac that expired. After it expired it no longer prompted me to save passwords. I have bought a license and reinstalled both the app and the firefox addon. It still will not prompt me to save new passwords. I have firefox 35.0 and im running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 . I have also tried turning off all other apps on firefox. Any ideas?
