Safety in Dropbox

I recently started using Drop Vox. In order to use it, I must give it access to the files I have in Drop Box. Does this include access to my one Password files or are they protected?

Your 1Password data are always encrypted in the cloud. They are protected by the strength of your master password.

    Hey @Carol7‌

If its indeed DropVox your are referring to, it can be configured for Full Dropbox access or Apps folder.

These links may be of use to you. Specifically the last one where you can configure DropVox for restricted access.

I have used DropVox for years, and love it. It has always been a good citizen. I have never had anything bad to say about it. Nore have any other users I have came across in the Dropbox forums or here. I am also a moderator at the Dropbox forums, so I wold most likely have seen any issues reported with it.

As @hawkmoth mentioned your data is always encrypted by your Master Password. So your 1Password data is secure in Dropbox.

Hi @Carol7‌ When it comes to Dropbox nobody is better equipped to answer your query than thightower. I implicitly trust him here.
