Conflicting 1password accounts!

I downloaded 1Password as a trial, liked it and then paid for it. Now I have 2 1passwords on my computer. The one I downloaded for free is version 1password 5 v5.1. This is the one I don't use. The one I paid for is 1password v5.0.2
So I'm confused. Why didn't it just update the trial version? Now I have 2.
I got an update today and when I updated it closed my paid version and opened my trial version and updated that. So is my paid version not getting updates?
Just tell me it's OK to delete the trial version and nothing will happen to my paid version. Thanks!

I'm sorry for any confusion about the versions! Version 5.1 is a free update for version 5.0.2. It sounds like you downloaded each version separately from our download site (instead of using the "Check for Updates" option in the app), or perhaps you downloaded the free trial of our web store version, then purchased/installed the Mac App Store version instead.
In each copy of 1Password on your Mac, go to the menu for 1Password > About 1Password. It should show the version number, as well as whether it is the Agile Web Store or Mac App Store version. If both are from the Agile Web Store, keep version 5.1 and delete version 5.0.2 (don't use any cleaning tools to delete other files - just delete the app itself). On the other hand, if one is from the Mac App Store, keep the Mac App Store version and delete the Agile Web Store version.
As long as both apps show all your data, there shouldn't be any problem with deleting one of them. Even if you end up with version 5.0.2, you'll be able to easily install the free update for 5.1.
