problem logging into site

I am new to 1password, so please bare with me.

I created a login to a website and gave it a title, but when I try to login using 1password, I get your
details are not correct, please try again.

It sounds like the username and password you entered in the login do not match what your account on the site has stored. When you create a login in one password, make sure the username and password match what you entered when you created your account on that site.

If you haven't made a login account on the site, you still need to do that first. 1Password can not create the account on the site for you.

Thank you for your help. Yes the password I had entered in the login did not match what my account on the site had stored. 1Password had made a new
password...I thought that's how it worked.

Glad to help. When you make an account on a service, immediately go to 1Password and make the same login item there, and you should be good to go.
