Finding License, purchasing more
Hello,
I purchased a Mac license through your site on about 1.16.15, and then added iPad/iPhone licenses through the Apple App Store yesterday. I cannot seem to find a license referenced, and I know I got it through your site, because you immediately began sending me support emails.
I would like to figure out what I need to pay to maybe upgrade to a family license, or to add my husband somehow (also on a Mac) to this. I was concerned about user friendliness and so did not purchase his immediately, but I think he will be fine.
Can you help please? Your site is telling me this email does not have an associated license...

Your single user license permits as many as six family members in the same household to install and use 1Password. So there is no need to buy another license for your husband. Just have him install it and apply the same license file that you received from AgileBits. Instructions for accessing it came in the email message that confirmed your purchase.
There is no license for purchases from Apple. In your case, this applies to your iOS purchase for your iPad and iPhone. Licensing is handled by Apple and it is tied to the Apple ID used to make the transaction. The iOS vesion is free to download and use in its basic form. If you need the more advanced Pro features, those are obtained through an in-app purchase in 1Password. That becomes tied to the Aplle ID also, but Apple doesn't allow Family Sharing for in-app purchased. So unless you and your husband use the same Apple ID for purchases, he would need to buy again to access the Pro features.
I don't know how the help you locate your license at AgileBits. It is tied to the email address you used to make your buy, but your message suggests that using that email hasn't worked for you.

Thank you both very much. Unfortunately, the only email I am finding is "welcome" emails. However, I activated with a license (vaguely recalled--but I had to have one, right, to get this thing going?) and I guess my genius problem is that I did them all in a 24 hour period and now am having trouble finding the original email from Agilebits....

I think you'll agree @Hankthecowdog that we've got some great community moderators here. Trying to answer a query before them is pretty damned tricky. If you ever need your licence resent then you should be able to do this from our AgileBits Support page
