changing input based on same password
A particular site I use all the time requires me to remember a password of which I am to fill in certain letters which change every time I log in to the site. To better explain, let's assume the password is "password". The site will ask me to fill in the blanks * * * _ * _ * _. It always asks for three letters but their position in the password changes all the time. So next time I might get _ _ * _ * * * *. Is this something that can be filled in with 1password?
Thanks for a great set of applications,
Pascal

Hi @pascalhos
Would that be a bank site by any chance? They always prove to be the most challenging/difficult.
Sadly are filling logic isn't sophisticated enough to deal with that at the moment. If you were happy to supply the main URL I can imagine our developers would certainly like to take a peek to see how feasible it is. I can't promise anything but we do strive to have 1Password work with as many sites as possible.
From my own experiences banks are just massively difficult to deal with, finding some truly inventive ways to stop people using strong passwords - go figure.

Correct, it is a bank site. Unfortunately I can't send you the link as it is the second page of the sign in process. And when I look at the source it only shows a static html page.

There are ways of making it easier to deal with these sites, though it is still largely manual.
I put my password in the Notes field, divided into blocks of five. That way, I can easily see what the third, seventh and eleventh characters are.

Hi @pascalhos
Thanks for getting back to us. I hope that @danco's suggestion can help make this a bit easier for you for now - unfortunately as is mentioned above, 1Password can't fill automatically on these types of forms at this time. We've heard from users requesting this sort of feature before, and I'm happy to add your vote to the issue in our internal tracker.
