password not filling in with 1PW5 login

I am using latest updates with OS10.10,Safari 8 & Chrome and 1PW5 and having odd "problem with password filling with 1PW login".
I have the login user name and password showing correctly but the password is not filling in.
And when I try to add a new 1PW5 login for the same website it fills the password on website, but as revealed, then when I try again with same 1PW login it does not fill in password.

Any suggestions....

    Hi @RanRan‌

    I think we'll need to work on that one I'm afraid. I can eventually get it to fill but I have to set the submit field of the Login item to Never submit (visible if you edit the Login item from within the main 1Password window). On the first fill it fills in the username. If I then switch focus to the password field (the tab key works as will clicking on the field) and try filling again it does fill in the password.

    As I'm a big user of the keyboard shortcuts it doesn't feel too awful for me. I bring up the page and use the keyboard shortcut ⌘\ to initiate the first fill. Then I use the tab key followed by another ⌘\ to complete the login.

    It isn't great at all but I hope it's at least an acceptable workaround while we figure out why it's doing what it is doing.

    Thanks, so it's nothing I am doing wrong. If possible, please contact me when a fix or another workaround has been made.

    Hi @RanRan,

    You're definitely not doing anything wrong, it's just that some sites don't play nicely with 1Password. Hopefully we can make an improvement in the 1Password extension to get it working better on that site, although I don't have a timeframe for when that might happen. However, your browser should be automatically installing updates for the 1Password extension, so once this is solved, filling your info on that site should automatically start working correctly.

    I hope littlebobbytables's workaround is helpful in the meantime! If you need anything else, we're here for you. :)
