App Store update error

When I tried to update to 5.1 via the App Store, the update fails with a red error message: "An error has occurred." Any idea of how to proceed?

    Hi @kcollett‌

    Just in case you misread, hawkmoth isn't being flippant at all. We're kind of limited because everything is through Apple's App Store application. What I would suggest is try a reboot just because it can't do any harm and yeah and then see if the error changes at all.

    Worst case maybe we need to purge the App Store cache as thankfully rarely but it can get messed up. We'll leave that until you've reported back to say a reboot and a bit of time haven't helped though. Do keep us informed :smile:
