Hi @Vincent COLLIN
I'm sorry to hear that you've been having trouble with the update. Now 1Password 5.1 should be perfectly compatible with OS X 10.10.2. I've just done my own upgrade to be sure, and it behaved properly on my end. So ... let's figure out where things are getting tangled up for you.
First of all, I'd love to see a screenshot of the error message, or the full text of it, just so we can better understand things.
Then, I think the solution here is simply to reinstall a fresh copy. Did you purchase 1Password from the Mac App Store or the AgileBits website?

At the end of my 10.10.2 upgrade, when my Mac started up, I have seen a splash screen who told me that my 5.1 version of 1P was not compatible.
But, I use my Mac and 1P since this upgrade and I don't noticed something wrong !

Hi @Vincent COLLIN,
Oh, OS X sometime puts incompatible software in a separate folder when it detects the app might not be compatible with the new version.
Is it possible OS X might be referring to a different version of 1Password, not 1Password 5.1? You should be able to see which version it put in the Incompatible Software folder in your main drive as mentioned here: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201861
Can you confirm 1Password 5 is still in your Applications folder?

Hi Mike,
I have looked for "1Password"+ Application on my Mac and have founded only two software : 1Password and 1Password min and both are in the Application folder.
Thank you for your help (and very soon in the morning for you !!!)

Hi @Vincent COLLIN,
Probably safe to ignore that message then. I'm not sure why 1Password would have gotten flagged by OS X as being incompatible. Let us know if you hit any issues.

Just to say that I had the same message when updating to 10.10.2 with 1Password 5.1 already installed. I ignored it (with fingers crossed) and all is working fine.

Thanks for chiming in, @rwakeford. I really wonder what OS X is using to decide this. It's very wrong, we're all using 10.10.2 here for development.

I had the same issue. Suer hope it was a false warning! Using 1Password 5.1

@Wibbley, as long as 1Password 5 still seems to be working for you, you can ignore that error message. It's very strange that would happen, but shouldn't actually be a problem, as 1Password 5.1 is definitely compatible with Mac OS 10.10.2. But if you do run into any issues, please let us know! :)
