License [Moved to email support]

Purchased software a few years back and cannot find a record of the license key. When requesting a reminder it does not "recognise" my email address, have tried another just in case. The programme runs fine on my web browsers but when opening the application a box pops up saying to enter license key!!.
I have also posted another message just now re syncing issues and this license key issue may prevent me updating the software?

Hi There
I have been running 1Password on iMac for some years and its worked well. Currently version 3.8.21 with the mac version 10.9.5.
Not so long ago i also added 1password for my phone and ipad.
The data file does not sync, although when installed all the data came over. But now it does not sync the info across, tried via dropbox and icloud.

When trying to update the version on the mac to 3.8.22 which may help with the issue, it gives a message
"an error whilst extracting" each time i try!!
I am happy to upgrade to version 4 but am concerned that i might lose the file containing my secure info currently on the IOS devices.

Can you offer any help please?
