'Website' should not be mandatory when creating a new login

When I create a new login on 1Password for iOS using the '+' button, I have to enter a username, password and website before I can save the login. I don't think a website should be required, for instance when you're saving the login for an iOS app.

AgileBits has said this will be changed (in the way you want) in the next update. (Forgive me for not searching to find the specific post just now.)

Hi, your app is number one!!
But there's an annoyance. When you add a new login, the last step requires you to enter a website or it won't save.

Right now I have to type in a letter and then remove it from the login afterwards. Anyway to pass that flaw or remove it?

  • Hi @avocadoshake,

I've merged your feedback into another thread on the same subject. Thanks!

Same issue, irritating when trying to set up logins to apps.

Any idea when the update will be released? This is getting a 'little' stale.

  • @davebhc71,

I do not have further information than what we've already shared.

    Soon. :)

    Thanks.
