Uninstalling 1Password 5 does not work

Hi,
upgrading 1Password 4 to 5 failed and I was not able to sync my vault in a folder. So I tried to remove the whole application by following this guide:

Unfortunately, that does not work at all. After following all the steps one password still has all the information and knows my master password when I start the app again.
The only thing that gets lost is local backups.
Help is appreciated! :-)

Hi @StanTropics,
Did you follow the starting over instructions in that guide for both the Mac App Store version and the AgileBits store version? If not, could you please try doing both?
