Having to constantly login to NYT website w/ 1password
I'm using ios on an iPhone 6 plus. I've found that since installing 1password, I now have to log in every time I visit the NYTimes website using safari. Before, the site would keep me logged in for literally hundreds of visits. Now I have to log in every time I use the site. I was using the NYT as a test of 1 password, and I am finding it's not going well. Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions?

Hi @CTYankee777,
Before using the 1Password extension to log into NYTimes.com, do you enable the "Remember me" option? If not, try doing that first, then have 1Password fill your login info. Does it stay logged in after that?

hi drew,
yes, i was enabling the "remember me" function, but it was still requiring the login. i stopped using 1password, changed my NYT password, and my problems stopped. unfortunately i started usinf 1password the day before the latest ios update, so perhaps that is the problem. thanks for replying!0 -
Hi @CTYankee777,
Let us know how you get along. If you save a Login item in 1Password for Mac using our Saving a Login Manually it can store the state of the remember me checkbox. So if you had deliberately unchecked it there and saved the Login it would apply that setting each time.
Now that might not apply to you for several reasons e.g. you may not have a Mac at all but it's about the only reason I can think of. If you saved the Login item on your iOS device then I'd be very surprised if it was 1Password at fault due to how locked down iOS and Safari are.
Hopefully it'll work smoothly from now on.
