Confused with Password

Appreciate some advice.
I password always asked for Master Password when opening or 4 digit pin once it was opened.
Now when I open it does not ask for Master Password it only asks for 4 digit pin.
How do I fix.

There were some changes in the way the PIN and master password interact in an update a couple of times ago, if I remember correctly. Once you activate a PIN (or Touch ID for devices that have it), 1Password will continue to unlock with just the PIN, unless the PIN is entered incorrectly or the device is reset. Then the master password is required again. I seem to remember that the master password also will eventually be required again on a time schedule that I don't remember.

It sounds to me as if your installation is working as expected.

If you'd like to always be prompted for the Master Password instead of a PIN or Touch ID those settings can be found within the 1Password app under Settings > Security.

Thanks for your reply.
Does that mean I cannot have the Master Password on startup and the Pin when logging after say 10 mins as before.

The Master Password will always be required the first time the app is launched after a device restart. Beyond that any customizations available can be found in the Settings > Security pane.
